How Beyoncé Beat Depression And Became The Most Powerful Woman In Music – Best Motivational Video

This is one of the best Motivational Success Stories

Beyoncé had a rough time growing up. She was very shy and quiet girl who was constantly bullied by her classmates. She became so withdrawn that she was even afraid to put her hand up in class. She got teased about her big ears and was called “Dumbo”. Beyoncé remembers how one boy at school bullied her and made her even more anxious and insecure: “He used to call me dumb, and stupid, and ugly. I was already shy, and so I just believed it. I wore boy clothes all the time because I was chunky.”

When she was seven, her dance teacher encouraged her to join the school talent show.
“I was terrified and I didn’t wanna do it, I remember walking out and I was scared, but when the music started, I don’t know what happened. I just . . . changed.”

She started going on talent shows, But she couldn’t beat her shyness and felt very sick before performing. And as a way to overcome her insecurities and shyness, she invented her alter ego, called Sasha Fierce.
“I have someone else that takes over when it’s time for me to work and when I’m on stage, this alter ego that I’ve created that kind of protects me and who I really am.

In the late 1990s, Beyoncé became globally famous as a lead singer of the R&B group Destiny’s Child.

Beyoncé revealed she suffered from depression for few years after Destiny’s Child broke up in 2006 and her long time boyfriend cheated on her. “I didn’t eat. I stayed in my room. I was in a really bad place in life, going through that lonely period: ‘Who am I? Who are my friends?’ My life changed.”

Including her time with Destiny’s Child, Beyoncé is one of the best-selling musicians in the world. She’s sold over 178 million records worldwide. She won 22 Grammy Awards and is the most nominated woman in the history of the awards. Also, Forbes magazine named her the most powerful female in the entertainment industry.

But her successful career took a tool on her mental health. So she took a year off to focus on herself. Because even the biggest success and all the money in the world are not as important as your mental health.
In order to beat depression and anxiety, or even prevent them from ever happening.. you have to take care of your mental health.
And if things or events in your life become unbearable and you start to feel like you can’t cope with everything and things are starting to get out of control, Start talking about your feelings and ask for help. Share your problems with Your friends ans family.. or even ask for professional help. Take care of yourself!
